Glossophobia, or the fear of public speaking, is remarkably common. In fact, some experts estimate that as much as 77% of the population has some level of anxiety regarding public speaking. The opportunity exists for IAIAsa to provide training to help young and old to become more impactful communicators. A skill often required, but rarely taught.

Sydney Modiba is a 29 year old educator and entrepreneur born and bred in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. He is the winner of one day leader Season 5 on SABC1, Mentor for Future Leaders Season 4 SABC1, and the regular feature on SABC1’s daily Thetha. He's the former SRC Chairperson and the ISRC Deputy President for the NWU Vanderbijlpark campus and institution as a whole and has served in the NWU Council and Senate while he was a student.
In his professional life he facilitates dialogues and discussions on toxic masculinity for Father A Nation’s #noexcuse campaign and has been a financial education facilitator for the Association of Savings and Investments SA, and Momentum. He has his own company Pax Media and Communications that is instrumental in branding and communicating client needs and brand requirements
